Thomas Lieu is an award-winning editor with more than 15 years of experience in film and television.
After graduating from film school, he began his career editing and directing short films, commercials, and music videos. Over the years, he has developed a reputation for sharp storytelling instincts, rhythmic pacing, strong musical sensibility, and meticulous sound design.
Thomas has worked across a wide range of genres, bringing a creative, adaptable approach to every project. His work spans both traditional and emerging formats, with a focus on crafting compelling, story-driven edits.
Recent credits include the Canadian Screen Award–winning comedies TallBoyz (dir./showrunner Bruce McCulloch, Kids in the Hall) and Children Ruin Everything (showrunner Kurt Smeaton, Schitt’s Creek) for CTV/Netflix, the final season of The Hardy Boys for Hulu, and the upcoming feature film The Pond, directed by Jeff Renfroe (Chucky, From, The Institute).
